ABOUT

My love for weddings came about a bit by chance. Many years ago, I was asked to help a few loved ones with wedding invitations. It went something like this… you’re a designer so you can do this, right? But, I actually found the work interesting and challenging. It was so different from my job in advertising. By the time I was planning my own wedding in 2015, I had realized the joy and creativity I found in stationery. Every event and every couple is different. I feel privileged to contribute to these important occasions. I find it very fulfilling to be able to offer guidance as well. I hope along with the actual designs, that I also provide valuable insight and assistance on a confusing piece of wedding planning.

OUR STORY

First, we’ll sit down for your free consultation. We’ll outline the items you need and discuss your wedding style. Whether you have a specific plan for your stationery or no clear ideas, this thorough meeting helps us help you!
 

STEP ONE

Next, we’ll provide you with a proposal and approximate timeline. We can hop on the phone or meet again to discuss questions and changes. Don’t worry! Our process is structured so that proposals are very flexible, even after booking. 

STEP TWO

Once you’ve made the fabulous decision to work with us, you will join our design calendar based on your wedding date. We dedicate ample time to a collaborative and calmly-paced design phase with every step tailored to your needs.

STEP THREE

The final piece of the puzzle is the realization of your projects. There might be multiple phases of design and production. We hand deliver all local orders, and may even set up event materials on your big day.

We choose to work primarily with local couples to provide the personalized service you deserve. Additionally, nearly all the vendors we utilize are small businesses in the U.S.

Listen - we love DIY around here! But trust us when we say, your wedding is not an ideal time for experimenting. Don’t spend time endlessly scrolling looking for the right design to purchase. We custom create designs uniquely for you and work with you until it’s exactly what you want. 

Actually, working with a professional stationer will save you time, money, and headaches. We have vetted all the vendors we work with to produce your designs with the best quality. We remove the guesswork and shoulder the details and deadlines so you can enjoy the process. We are also a helpful resource! We have answers to your questions about wording, etiquette, addressing, mailing, and more.

We do not currently offer letterpress. We do offer foil stamping and a range of luxury papers, materials, and other embellishments to bring a luxe feel to your stationery.

We are unable to replicate or copy design work from other sources. We can use what you have found as inspiration to design a unique concept just for you.

We recommend mailing save the dates between 6-12 months out from your wedding. This can vary based on your situation. Invitations should be mailed 8-12 weeks out from your wedding. If you skipped a save the date, lean towards mailing invitations earlier!

We recommend asking for replies by at least 4 weeks out from your wedding to ensure your venue and caterer have a proper head count in time.

Postage and invitation assembly are not automatically included in your order, however we do offer both as add on services if you like. Unless otherwise noted, invitations will be delivered to you in a ready-to-assemble state. Take one fully assembled invitation to your local post office to be weighed. They will inform you of the correct postage and may show you some options for wedding stamps. You can also order stamps online at usps.com.

Simply put, we create a design just for you! No templates. After you book and we have an in-depth consultation, we will walk you through the entire process. We create an invitation based on our conversation, and you tell us how you feel about it. We take that feedback and make changes until it’s exactly what you want. We may investigate fonts, artwork, and embellishments. A physical proof of your invitation is always included as well so you can be extra sure it’s just right. We dedicate plenty of time to working on the designs and always include unlimited revisions on your invitations specifically, so you will be left with a keepsake you love.
