Hey, we know approaching the task of wedding stationery might feel a little... frustrating? confusing? overwhelming? These are words we hear all too often from clients. Part of our job is to help you figure out what you need and what you can skip. We help you make sense of etiquette, wording, mailing, and all the minutia in between. We always strive to provide an enjoyable experience, and services such as envelope addressing, assembly, and day-of delivery can go a long way to eliminating stress.
The second phase of our design process includes an in-depth look at what you need for the day of. Whether you simply want a beautiful seating chart, or several paper items to fill out your collection, items for the big day cannot be overlooked. The physical pieces your guests interact with help define your celebration as much as the venue and decor. They should match your invitation in design and quality, seamlessly complement your event’s style, and contribute to a wonderful guest experience.

ALL PROJECTS INCLUDE:
We recommend booking stationery at least 4–6 months in advance of when you plan to mail save the dates or invitations. We typically suggest mailing save the dates 6–12 months out and invitations 10–16 weeks out, but there are instances when mailing earlier or later is appropriate. We can sometimes accommodate shorter deadlines. Get in touch to check availability.
It may be helpful to know that our clients spend an average of $2000–$4000 with us. However, we do not require a minimum order, and we strive to help our couples make the most of their budget.

If it seems a little overwhelming, we're here to help! We work with you to determine which pieces will create the overall look you envision while keeping practicality and budget in mind.
Friendly Advice from your Designer
Wedding Stationery Timeline
It is best to book stationery once your wedding date and venue have been secured and your color palette finalized. If possible, we recommend getting in touch at least 4-6 months prior to your first planned mailing, whether that will be a save the date, engagement party or shower invitation, or wedding invitation. You are more than welcome to book with us earlier, but be aware that we will schedule your design phase based on date and individual needs. For a truly unified collection and client experience, Perfetta can handle all of your paper and event displays from start to finish.
If you mailed save the dates, we recommend mailing invitations 10–11 weeks out. If you skipped save the dates or an exceptional number of guests need to arrange major travel, opt for mailing invitations 12–16 weeks out.
Mail save the dates 6-12 months prior to your wedding. There are circumstances, such as destination weddings, in which it is best to mail save the dates earlier rather than later.
